ALIENS VERSUS PREDATOR GOLD EDITION INVADES RETAIL STORES

LOS ANGELES (April 14, 2000) – Fox Interactive, entertainment industry leader and developer of computer and video game software, today announced that Aliens versus Predator Gold Edition for the PC is available in retail stores nationwide at an estimated retail price of $34.99.

The Gold Edition features an enhanced version of the original game, Aliens versus Predator, plus new game engine enhancements, the Millennium Expansion Pack and Prima Publishing’s Official AVP Strategy Guide. Additionally, current AVP gamers can order the Millennium Expansion Pack with enhanced game features for their original game through the Fox Interactive web site, www.foxinteractive.com, for a suggested retail price $9.98 plus shipping and handling.

Continuing the Terror

Capitalizing on the success of the original game, AVP Gold Edition brings to life all the characters from the popular film sagas, Aliens and Predator, in this terrifying first-person adventure. AVP Gold Edition continues to pit three of the deadliest species in the universe against each other in a blood-thirsty battle through richly detailed, spine-tingling environments.

Millennium Expansion Pack

New to the Gold Edition is the AVP Millennium Expansion Pack, which features nine new levels in detailed, challenging environments. First-person enthusiasts and sci-fi fans alike will enjoy the pack’s new weapons such as automatic pistols and the skeeter gun for additional artillery in both multi-player and select single-player levels. The in-game save function is a new feature that allows gamers to save their existing game while progressing through levels.

The Gold Edition also includes the in-depth Official AVP Strategy Guide from Prima Publishing. The strategy guide will aid gamers in their quest and will reveal numerous multi-player maps and levels.
