GT Legends was announced summer 2005 and presented to media, with a response that was overwhelming. The one concern expressed by the media present at the time was that they were previously blown away by GTR, and now they wanted to rate GT Legends even higher!

Apart from Central and Western Europe the distribution agreement comprises South America, Australia and South Africa.
Darmstadt (Germany), 11 August 2005: The German publisher 10TACLE STUDIOS AG concludes a far-reaching distribution agreement with ATARI for its new motor sports simulation "GT Legends". Thus the two companies continue their successful collaboration that they started with "GTR - FIA GT Racing Game" and extend their sales territory to Scandinavia and the German-speaking countries. The French company is henceforth in charge of the sale of the title in the following countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, Scandinavia, Greece, Israel, South Africa, South America, Australia and New Zealand.
"GT Legends" is the successor to the internationally successful "GTR" and thus satisfies the highest demands in virtual motor sports. Even after the first previews "GT Legends" has become the new reference for racing games. The prospective release for October is being confirmed!

"GT Legends" expands Multiplayer Mode 28.11.2005
Now, with update 1.1, up to 36 players can compete online with one another
Darmstadt, 28th November 2005: The historic racing simulation āGT Legendsā by publisher 10TACLE STUDIOS AG and developer SimBin Development Team stands out due to its excellent graphics and the realistic driving experience of legendary touring cars from the 60s and 70s.
With the availability of the GTL 1.1 update, a number of small issues have now been addressed, as well as the addition of some exciting new gameplay features. Multiplayer racing in particular has been extended, and the stability improved, to further enhance the ultimate online racing experience. The servers now support up to 36 online players in one race, and in this way an exciting competition of the entire field of FIA GTC-TC is possible.
