Let's ride!

The streets are yours for the taking. There's so much guy stuff in SRS: Street Racing Syndicate that you should fuel the cars up with testosterone instead of nitrous.Features* More than 40 cars * Soup up your ride with aftermarket parts * Street, Arcade and Multiplayer Modes * Race through Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Miami

Welcome to the world of street racing. You won't find any corporate sponsors, goofy announcers or beer-swilling fans. You see, street racing is illegal but your accomplishments in the asphalt jungle can win you money, earn you respect and help get you in with the ladies.SRS: Street Racing Syndicate promotes both style and speed. The more style you exhibit, the more respect you'll earn. Anybody can turn a corner, but can you do it so fast that your car lifts two wheels off the ground? Winning the race isn't secondary to style, though. You need the prize money from races and antes from betting with other drivers to upgrade your car.In Street Mode, you start out with a $30,000 bank roll to buy your car, upgrade it and keep some aside for race entry fees. In the showroom, you choose from models of Subaru, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi and Toyota autos. You can unlock cars from Lexus, Mazda and Nissan as you progress through the game.Drive your ride to the garage to install parts for performance upgrades or do some cosmetic upgrades. If your car has taken a beating on the streets, repair it at the garage. Repairs aren't cheap, so drive carefully. When you select a part for a performance upgrade, you will see how that part will affect your car's performance. Then, choose to install the part or leave it on the store shelf.Ready to show off your ride? You can either drive around and look for someone who wants to race you or press the Z Button to see all the points in town where you can race. Crew Meets are three-track, three-lap races against rivals. Sanctioned races are free and you earn money by finishing in the top three. Team races cost you an entry fee. In both types of races, you may make a side bet with one of the other drivers. If you're pretty good, this is the fastest way to haul in the cash.Street Challenges pit you against another racer in a winner-take-all race. Some of the wagers are pretty hefty. Respect Challenges require you to perform a driving task within a set amount of time. If you accomplish that task, you get a girlfriend (wish it was that easy in real life, dontcha?). If you go back to the warehouse, you can choose which girl you want to hook up with and watch a video where the girl shows off her wardrobe and dancing talents. We're not making this stuff up!Don't get sidetracked, though. The racing action rules this game, and it's good action at that. The cars handle well and the tracks pose a challenge. Once you start rolling with a tougher crowd, winning is far from automatic. The damage done to your car during the race affects racing performance. However, it could cost you half of your race winnings to repair. Make sure you bet against other racers during sanctioned events to cover the cost of your repairs.Bottom LineFast cars and fast gameplay highlight SRS: Street Racing Syndicate. You'll have to check out the highlights of the girls for yourself.
