Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX

Moby ID: 2821

There are no shaved legs and skinny tires in this kind of biking. This is about busting big air tricks and landing them hard with the slap of your wheels. It's about pushing yourself to the edge and savoring the rush when you finally nail that new freestyle move. It's about the most intense, work-the-bike-for-all-it's-worth athletes in competition today. This is a game about BMX.

The only BMX game to feature the current king of BMX, 10-Time World Champion Dave Mirra, and his heir apparent, 1999 Dirt Circuit Champion, Ryan Nyquist. Authentic BMX moves featured in game were motion captured by Mirra and Nyquist at Woodward Camp.

Ride as Mirra, Nyquist or 8 other top pros leading the sport in the new millennium: Leigh Ramsdell, Mike Laird, Troy McMurray, Kenan Harkin, Joey Garcia, Shaun Butler, Chad Kagy and Tim Mirra.

Innovative open trick system lets you start with basic tricks and modify them to create new moves using the modifier button: Expand your repertoire to more than 1,300 different high scoring moves. Mix any trick with any other trick for endless possibilities!

Riders choose their own stylized lines. With no pre-existing tracks to follow, you have the freedom to explore environments at your own pace and discover hidden areas.

Spin, grind and stall your way through 12 interactive environments focused on vert, dirt and street riding, including the San Jose Ramp Club, Dave Mirra's own Eastwood Ramp Park and Camp Woodward's famed "Lot 8," well known as the best indoor park in the world.

Multiple objectives per level challenge even the most accomplished players.

Easy to learn, hard to master. Simple, intuitive controls make it easy for anyone to pick up the game, while the increasing level of difficulty and trick complexity make it hard to master.

Z-Axis's proprietary Skeletal Dynamics System (SDS) generates real-time crashes that are different every time. You won't just see your crashes, you'll also feel them with the DUALSHOCK(tm) analog controller.

Ten different multi-player games including B-M-X (a variation of the HORSE basketball game), Longest Grind, Sickest Trick, Gnarliest Crash and more.

Individual rider and bike attributes extend replay and balance the game.

More than 30 authentic in-game sponsors are an integral part of the gameplay: as you master levels, each pro earns his own respective sponsors and upgrades from a used, rusty bike to a slick pair of wheels. Slim Jim, Adidas, UGP, Maxxis, Pro-tec, Haro, Specialized and many more!

Sophisticated replay camera showcases your smooth athletic art in the air and on the ground.

Pick your own song to ride to from a killer soundtrack: Sublime, Cypress Hill, Rancid, Social Distortion, Deftones, Pennywise, Dropkick Murphys, 59 Times the Pain, Primer 55 and Swingin' Utters!

Available now for the PlayStation® game console, Sega Dreamcast, PC and Game Boy® Color.
