Codemasters Studios’ designers are back creating a totally reinvigorated McRae experience. The new Colin McRae title will go beyond the series’ point-to-point rallying to deliver the most diverse selection of extreme off-road competitions. Sensational gravel, mud and dirt racing events from the world over will include perilous Hill Climb and collision-packed Rally Cross events.

International rallying competitions will also feature, with official cars on tracks based on real roads and locations around the globe. The title will also expand on beat-the-clock racing and include events with multiple cars on track to satisfy anyone who wants to push their on-the-edge driving just that bit further.

Colin McRae: DIRT takes traditional rally and turns it into an exhilarating thrill ride through a massive range of off-road racing experiences on gravel, mud and dirt, right across the globe. Dedicated hardcore fans of the series will love the new evolved McRae experience while the diverse selection of off road competitions will provide a high-speed ride for newcomers to the game.

Players will have to master Rally, Raid, Rallycross, Off-road Baja style racing and Pike’s Peak extreme hill climb and the game also offers a dedicated mode for rally championships. In any mode, on any surface, the car handling is sublime and the physics system is thrillingly accurate. A devastating new damage engine ensures players feel every bump in the road, every loose rock and every inch of shifting gravel under their wheels as they fight to keep control of their cars at breathtaking speeds.

• Over 45 officially licensed cars: 12 car class categories, all with multiple liveries that can be purchased in game. Get dirty in CORR Pro 4 trucks and Super Buggies, 4x4s from BMW, VW and Nissan. There’s a whole range of rally cars from classics, rear wheel drives, two wheel drives and the newest four wheel drives including Colin McRae’s revolutionary prototype, the R4, and Travis Pastrana’s X Games winning Subaru Impreza.
• Liveries: Having licensed cars is one thing, but you need liveries to match and there are over 180 liveries in the game. For example we have both the liveries thad adorned Colin McRae’s and Travis Pastrana’s Subaru Imprezas in the Summer X Games.
• Neon Engine: Neon is a growling powerhouse of a game engine that will drive the next-generation of the series’ impeccable car handling, incredibly detailed vehicles and fantastic living environments.
