Defender

The classic arcade game, miniaturized for your Game Boy Advance!

Take control of a ship designed to stop the alien menace in this fast-paced 2-D side scroller. Play the original arcade Classic Mode or with updated graphics in XG Mode. Garner points by blasting enemy Manti ships and ground forces.

Both Classic and XG modes restrict you to one ship, but the six-level XGP Mode gives you a choice of five:

• Defender
• Dagger
• Drater
• D.I.L. 2
• DTS.ELOM

Each ship is rated for defense and speed and has two unique weapons.

XGP Mode also gives you various objectives, such as saving humans and destroying enemy defense installations.

A battery back-up retains your high scores. You have a choice of difficulty levels.

Two GBAs, a GBA Game Link cable and two Game Paks are required for co-op XGP multiplayer action. Even though you're working to clear a level, you're also competing for the high score.
