WipEout 3: Special Edition

Wip3out is one series of games that keeps giving, forever improving, and Wip3out Three: Special Edition certainly doesn't let the side down.

Just as you thought no more could be down with the classic futuristic racing thriller, 8 incredible new tracks have been added, all of which include a range of 11 weapons you can use, or have used against you. You just have to check out the crippling Force Wall and Energy Drain, the kind of thing you'd rather be on the giving end of.

Wip3out Three: Special Edition also features 2 player split screen racing with a wide-screen function, improved hi-resolution imagery, new game modes like eliminator and challenge and, of course, a thumping soundtrack. This time the music is courtesy of Sasha, featuring the likes of Underworld, Orbital, Chemical Brothers and Paul van Dyk.
