The Whispered World: Spot an für den heimlichen Star im Fantasy-Adventure

Hamburg, 9. Mai 2008. Im neuen Adventure The Whispered World von Daedalic Entertainment begibt sich Held Sadwick auf eine fantastische Reise. Eine uralte Prophezeiung über den Untergang der Welt führt ihn auf ein gefährliches Abenteuer, doch zum Glück hat er einen ständigen Begleiter, der ihm immer zur Seite steht.

Spot, Sadwicks treues Haustier, folgte ihm schon als Larve überall hin. In The Whispered World ist der kleine Sidekick unverzichtbar, um so manches Rätsel zu lösen. Der Spieler kann sich Spot einfach greifen und ihn mit den Objekten in der Umgebung kombinieren, um Wege zu öffnen, die Sadwick verschlossen bleiben.

Außerdem kann Spot im Laufe der Geschichte immer neue Formen annehmen. So kann er sich zum kugelrunden Ball aufplustern, um andere Kreaturen anzulocken oder als Feuer-Spot Hindernisse aus dem Weg räumen. Kontrolliert werden die Fähigkeiten über ein spezielles Menü in der rechten, oberen Bildschirmecke, über das der Spieler jederzeit zwischen den einmal erworbenen Fähigkeiten hin- und herschalten kann.

Das wunderschöne Point&Click-Adventure The Whispered World entführt den Spieler in eine faszinierende Fantasywelt. Der junge Clown Sadwick reist mit dem Wanderzirkus seiner Familie durch diese Welt, doch nach Lachen ist ihm so gar nicht zu Mute. Eines Nachts spricht im Traum eine merkwürdige Gestalt zu ihm und schickt Sadwick auf eine abenteuerliche Reise. Viele Gefahren erwarten ihn, denn die ihm vertraute Welt ist dem Untergang geweiht…

Handgezeichnete Hintergründe voller animierter Details und liebevoll gestaltete Charaktere im Stil von Animationsklassikern wie "Chihiros Reise ins Zauberland" erwecken die Geschichte zum Leben. The Whispered World vermischt dabei märchenhafte Elemente mit melancholischen Untertönen zu einem bildgewaltigen Epos.

Das Fantasy-Abenteuer erscheint im 4. Quartal 2008 für den PC.
