In the future, brakes are for wimps.

The hovercraft classic races to the Game Boy Advance.

Game Boy Advance struts its 32-bit stuff with the blazingly fast F-ZERO Maximum Velocity, a futuristic racing game inspired by F-ZERO for the Super NES and F-ZERO X for the Nintendo 64. A quarter-century after the heroic events of F-ZERO for the Super NES, the descendents of famous racers like Captain Falcon put their their driving skills to the test in 10 brand new high-speed hovercraft, six of which have to be unlocked by overcoming the gutsy competition.

F-ZERO Maximum Velocity features hovercraft racing in four different five-track series, plus a bonus track and a track that is only available in Single-Pak multiplayer mode. Jumps, speed boosts and other track features add to the high-speed challenge. The Game Boy Advance's L and R Buttons give you pinpoint control at as you roar through the twisting, trouble-laden tracks at speeds topping 500 kilometers per hour.

An especially cool feature of F-ZERO Maximum Velocity is that four friends can race simultaneously using the Game Boy Advance four-player linking capabilities. If all players have an F-ZERO Maximum Velocity Game Pak, each can access all tracks and machines open on at least one of the Game Paks. If only one has a Game Pak, the race will take place on a special circuit available only in Single-Pak Link mode.

If you're a battle-tested vet of the F-ZERO racing series, get ready for more of the intense speed you've known and loved. If you've never played an F-ZERO game before, prepare to feel the G-forces.
