Two Legendary Games. One Game Pak.

Whether you choose solo or competitive play, The Legend of Zelda: a Link to the Past / Four Swords will keep your eyes, fingers, and mind occupied like no other game on Game Boy Advance!

Features * Classic adventure gaming at its finest, A Link to the Past seamlessly mixes brain-bending puzzles and supreme swashbuckling action. * Up to four players can cooperate and compete in Four Swords -- where four Links fight together through some of the most wicked dungeons ever seen. * Complete special tasks in Four Swords to unlock cool features in A Link to the Past -- and vice versa! * Randomly generated dungeons in Four Swords ensure that the game is different each time you play.

In A Link to the Past, Link travels between the Light World and the Dark World, conquering fierce monsters and uncovering Hyrule's deepest secrets along the way. It's one of Link's most challenging adventures of all time!

What makes Four Swords so fun is the communication and cooperation it requires between the players. As few as two players can work their way through the game together, but it's infinitely more fun with a full roster. The dungeon puzzles have been designed to demand that multiple heroes solve problems and slash foes together, but even as you cooperate, you compete against your friends to see who can collect the most Rupees. The ensuing action is pure multiplayer bliss.

The more you play Four Swords, the more of Four Swords there is. Every time you play, the dungeons are different than the last time you plundered them. Four Swords creates a dungeon level by randomly selecting a dungeon setting -- a vast area with many set challenges -- then dropping a randomly selected new dungeon part into it. As you gain more keys and experience, obstacles become more challenging and levels become more difficult. There are dozens of settings and parts available for each separate area, so you'll always be challenged with new dungeon levels!

Bottom Line

If you own a Game Boy Advance, don't miss The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past / Four Swords. From classic adventure gaming to multiplayer mayhem, this game has it all!

One of the world's most popular videogame characters makes his Game Boy Advance debut - in a Game Pak loaded with not one, but two Zelda titles, including the first-ever multiplayer Zelda game!

The one-player mode in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is the complete Super Nintendo classic, squeezed onto a cart no bigger than a strip of chewing gum. In this sprawling adventure, Link receives a telepathic message from Zelda, imploring him to help. He must find the Master Sword, then travel to the Dark World to defeat Ganon and restore peace to the land of Hyrule.

The second game, Four Swords, is an all-new, first-ever multiplayer Zelda title! Between two to four players brave the dangers of multiple dungeons in a quest to find the Master Sword - and enjoy a unique blend of co-operation and back-stabbing as they unite to solve puzzles and swap items, and compete to pick up rupees and increase their individual scores.

Both games feature tons of that special Zelda brand of monster-battling, puzzle-solving, item-using action. Talk to all sorts of people and creatures to gain information about how to move forward in your quest. Fight enemies and battle through dangerous and complicated dungeons to recover key objects that open new areas. Wield swords, throw bombs, perform dash attacks, manipulate objects; and, of course, acquire items that give additional abilities.

At the 2002 E3 show in Los Angeles, Mr Shigeru Miyamoto - the creator of the Zelda series - took to the stage with representatives from Namco, Sega and Capcom to demonstrate the maniacal multiplayer fun of Four Swords. Seeing the four bigwigs laugh, joke and jostle as the multiple Links were guided, thrown and even shoved down holes was all the proof needed that this first multiplayer Zelda will be firmly glued in your Game Boy Advance slot come launch.

The biggest, most beautiful handheld Zelda game yet: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is a legend in its own right.
