In this fast-paced Tetris-style puzzle game, it's you against the viruses. The viruses have taken over the lab and you must match them with vitamins to zap them out of existence.

Your game will begin by showing you a bottle that has viruses of three different colors inside it. Mario will then toss vitamins (of the same three colors) into the bottle. Using the controller and the A and B Buttons, you must position the vitamins on same-color viruses. When you get four of one color (horizontally or vertically), you will clear that line of vitamins and viruses. You can score more points if you're able to clear more than one line at a time. The strategy comes in knowing when not to clear a line, so you can set up to clear multiple lines.

You can adjust the number of viruses and the speed at which the capsules drop. This game offers 24 levels of increasingly difficulty. With Dr. Mario's two-player Game Link mode, you can test your medical skills against a friend's. Dr. Mario is a puzzle fan favorite, and possibly one of the best road-trip games ever made.
