Description

Beatbuddy is a hand-drawn arcade game with unique music interaction. You're leading the mystical creature Beatbuddy on his adventure against Prince Maestro's army to save your beloved musical homeland Symphonia. As you bounce off bassdrum catapults and snare-jump with the Bubblebuggy whole songs unfold in each of the six worlds. The exclusive music is composed by artists like Austin Wintory, Sabrepulse and Parov Stelar.

History

We developed the concept of a non-linear music game over the course of 4 years by iterating on multiple prototypes. The highly precise music visualization for each game element, is achieved with our own sound-technology. The humorous story was accompanied by game writer Rhianna Pratchett.
