Activision strengthens its beefy lineup of Game Boy Advance games with Pinobee: Wings of Adventure. Players control a robotic bee named Pinobee, who buzzes, hovers and stings his way through nine large worlds in search of a genius robotics engineer named Grandpa Bee.

Pinobee: Wings of Adventure takes full advantage of Game Boy Advance's 32-bit color graphics. From Pinobee's fluid animation to the detailed environments he explores, it's obvious that a lot of spit and polish has been applied to this Pak.

Pinobee screenshots may lead you to believe that this is a standard action platform game, but that is far from an accurate description. Pinobee can walk along the ground or shimmy up walls, but his main means of locomotion is dashing through the air. As he makes it deeper in his quest, Pinobee gains the ability to dash farther and farther through the air. Soon enough, he's spending more time hovering and dashing through the sky than on the ground. This unique play control system gives Pinobee a fresh feel.

Each level is filled with secret items to find, which mix together to give Pinobee special powers and abilities. Frequently, you'll have to backtrack to previously explored levels to grab items which were out of reach when you first passed by. Be sure to read Pinobee's diary at the conclusion of each level, because he provides clues about what you may have missed along the way. Using a Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable, you can trade items with a friend to build a complete collection of power-ups.

Based on the various tasks you complete during each leg of Pinobee's mission, you'll experience branching storylines and multiple endings. These factors add an adventurous feel to the action, which is a welcomed addition to any action game.
