Fox gets strong support from Star Fox Team members Slippy, Peppy and Rob. Unexpected help comes Prince Tricky, the playful heir to the EarthWalker tribal throne. On the planet surface, Fox must rely on the mystical powers of a unique staff as he battles Scales’ minions, befriends peaceful plant-eaters and encounters eerie spirits that hold the key to the planet’s survival. Most intriguing of all is Krystal, a beautiful traveler from a distant planet.

Take charge of Star Fox team leader Fox McCloud to free the dinosaurs from Scales's sinister clutches and restore peace to the prehistoric paradise.

Nintendo and Rare Ltd. join forces to bring Fox McCloud and friends to Nintendo GameCube. Eight years after defeating Andross, the Star Fox team discovers a lush planet ruled by an evil tyrant known as General Scales.

For the first time ever, Fox McCloud will be able to step out of his Arwing and explore a vast, 3-D world full of gorgeous scenery, engaging animals, complex puzzles and adventure. But don't think he's completely written off traveling by flight: Fox will have to jump into his trusty Arwing fighter to get around the savaged planet, and the space battles won't be easy. Along the way, he will learn the secrets of a mystical staff to fend off enemies and use it to cast a variety of spells.

As the player in control of Fox, you'll witness technologically advanced graphics with Rare's fur-rendering techniques and lavish effects including shimmering water, real-time lighting, depth-of-field blurring and a sophisticated facial animation system.
