Get ready for the third Wonder Boy adventure! To save Monster Land from the evil Meka Dragon, you've entered his castle and are about to go into battle. If you defeat the dragon, a terrible surprise awaits you...a curse! You'll turn into a lizard-man, and more. The only way you can return to human form is to find the Salamander Cross, a magical item with the power to remove curses.

But where is it hidden? Finding it is an adventure that will take you across strange lands, against strange creatures, into battles where you never know what strange shape you'll turn into! Hawk-man, Lion-man and more! You'll be able to buy armor, weapons and use magic items! Hidden rooms hold even greater surprises!

Can you beat the dragon's bosses and recover the Salamander Cross? When you look at the shape you're in, it's your only hope!

In Dragon's Curse, you play as a human named, appropriately enough, Hu-Man! However, as the game's title implies, you're horribly cursed by a dragon, and forced to continue most of the game in disfigured form. Download the game for your Wii™ Virtual Console™ today to find out what the curse means for poor Hu-Man (or just keep reading)!

At the start of the game, you're a legendarily powerful knight, but as soon as you defeat the first boss, Mecha Dragon, he/she/it curses you and you take the form of Lizard-Man. All is not lost, though; if it was, it would be a very short game! As Lizard-Man, not only do you look adorably cute, but also you can breathe fire! In order to return to your normal human form, you'll have to seek out the Salamander Cross. Along the way, as you defeat each boss (all dragons), you'll be curse again and changed into a new form! You'll become Mouse-Man (who can squeeze into small spaces), Piranha-Man (who can swim), Tiger-Man (who swings a sword in a wide arc), and Hawk-Man (who can fly).

While the game appears to be a simple platformer with a bright palette and cutesy graphics, it's actually a deep action-RPG! Along the way, you collect gold, which you can spend in shops to upgrade your weapons and armor or in hospitals to restore your health. You'll fight through 6 levels as you search out the Salamander Cross to restore Hu-Man to his normal human shape! Check it out on the Wii™ Virtual Console™ now!

Wonder Boy III The Dragon’s Trap is widely considered among the best games produced for the Sega Master System, featuring some of the best animations of its time during the original release. Wonder Boy III The Dragon’s Trap is the direct sequel to Wonder Boy in Monster Land, starting in the final lair of the previous game. This game is the first in the series to allow Wonder Boy to roam freely by using various animal forms, but much like previous games in the series, Wonder Boy can also buy various weapons, armor, and items to help him in his quest. Add this gem to your Sega Master System collection today!
