Tranquility Base

Tranquility Base was originally to be published by Edu-Ware Services, but when Management Sciences America purchased the company, the game was published under the banner of its Peachtree Software subsidiary and marketed as an educational product.

The publishing rights to Tranquility Base were acquired by Jeff Ford, David Mullich, Wesley Huntress and Pam Pollack so that the game could be published by their new company, Electric Transit. The game was enhanced with an expanded moon base and a cargo run scenario by its developer, Larry Roberts, and published under the name “Lunar Explorer.”
