An inlay in the game packaging says that "This product required Kickstart version 1.1, which is scheduled for release by Commodore Amiga in November, 1985. See your dealer for availability."
Does this imply that the game was released as early as 1985?

For what it's worth, the Oct. 1985 issue of Ahoy! Magazine lists Archon for Amiga under "scheduled for September [1985] release".
Wouldn't surprise me, since two out of the four 1985 Amiga titles we have on file are by EA as well.
