1001 Video Games

The Apple II version of Eamon appears in the book 1001 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die by General Editor Tony Mott.

Code

Since Eamon and all of its modules were written in Applesoft BASIC, you could easily find all the secrets to the game by listing out the code and examining it for secret rooms or surprises. You could also use the Dungeon Designer disk to list out all the rooms and monsters for a dungeon.

You could also modify your character's stats by changing a few lines in the adventure code if you wanted a super character.

DOS version

The DOS conversion of Eamon was released in four parts (all in 1988):

• Eamon Adventure Disk 1 - The Main Hall
• Eamon Adventure Disk 2 - The Ice Cave
• Eamon Adventure Disk 3 - Assault on the Clone Master
• Eamon Adventure Disk 4 - Quest For Trezore
