Droidzone

Droidzone is an arcade space shooter played on a single screen. The game consists of several zones where the ship needs to shoot down waves of aliens to score points. The ship can move in two directions, left and right, but is tied to a hexagonal figure that always makes it move close to any border of the area with a fixed trajectory. The ship always faces inwards and needs to shoot while quickly dodging the incoming waves that use different formations. If enemies are not destroyed fast enough, the ship is quickly overwhelmed. Alien ships are not tied to the hexagonal figure and can move anywhere on the screen.

The game supports multiple players, taking turns. It is possible to alter the game speed based on three levels and there is a high score table. There are fives lives in total and every hit is fatal, but the ship always starts with a shield that makes it invincible for a few seconds.
