Description

Dungeon Runners is a free-to-play hack & slash style RPG-lite massively multiplayer online game where the player instantly jumps into the action. No typical tedious overland movement here - you jump right into the randomly generated dungeons and start smacking the bad guys immediately.

A dungeon crawl with a wedgie - that's what Dungeon Runners is. It has an incredible sense of humor that basically skewers every other game ever made - and all the silly conventional roleplaying truths along with it.

Fighting as a warrior, mage or ranger - the player has no limits on the types of skills you can learn. Mix & match from the various abilities at will for a huge variety of experiences.

Arm yourself with cardboard tubes and wear paper machet armor - the items are all hilarious parodies of the typical uber-powerful item labels found in most RPG's. The most powerful mythic items are called rainbows!

A subscription of $5 per month unlocks all sorts of benefits for the player, although this is optional. The game also sports in-game ads that poke fun of all sorts of stuff just like the game itself does.

Trivia

In September 2009 NCsoft announced that the game's servers would be closed on New Year's Eve of 2009, stating the game isn't profitable, as its three-man development team doesn't have the financial support to implement necessary changes.
