Firebird issued a competition offering a Porsche 924 (or cash equivalent of £12,500) to anyone who completed the game by the competition deadline (6th November 1985). Once completed the game revealed a code, with this code you could enter the final play offs. A version of Gyron was created for the play-offs, and was released at a budget price as Gyron Arena
