Alien Space Retro

Alien Space Retro is a dual-stick 2D/3D space shooter. This game is based on Alien Space, but has all different retro-inspired graphics, as well as additional available game modes and weapons.

The game includes a 30 level campaign and a survival mode, as well as two additional modes available through In-App-Purchases: "Defender" and "Lost in Space". In the campaign players get points that can be used to upgrade their ship systems and weapons. The levels consist of flying around an asteroid-filled space, destroying enemies, dodging missiles and blowing up asteroids. There are also pick-up items that drop when enemies or asteroids are destroyed. Aside from this, each of the additional game modes have their own gameplay different from the campaign/survival modes.

There are various weapons that can be chosen. The player's ship can use a light weapon (unlimited ammo) and a heavy weapon (limited ammo pick-up up during levels). Weapons include lasers, autocannons, spread guns, missiles, bombs and others. There are also some new weapons available through IAPs such as the Lightning Gun, Swarm Missiles, and more.

The game also features leaderboards and achievements through Game Center.
