The description given for this entry does not make it clear as to whether this is a remake or a port. It may have upscaled visuals but those alone do not warrant a separate entry, much as an Amiga game will be visually more appealing than the same game for the Commodore 64. And I know that simply removing the multiplayer wasn't enough for Splinter Cell 3D to be its own game. Are there any changes to the mechanics (besides just adapting for the control setup as described) or new content to justify being separate from the previous releases?

According to two reviews I read, the only additions are autosave, a quick bar for four items and slightly adapted controls for the touchpad. There are no indications this is a remake. In my opinion not a new game entry.
