This package contains both the original Die Völker 2 (a.k.a. The Nations) and the Bonus Pack. Owners of a previous release can download the additional content free of charge.

The Nations: Gold Edition contains a number of new features and changes, including 22 new missions, a new story, more music, and new video sequences. A new research system has been implemented, vile bandits have been added, and the game has been fine-tuned (including trade, production chains and unit strengths) to make it more balanced.

The original missions have also been amended, and the game supports a downloadable editor to create new missions and share them with other players.
