Nuke the Love Boat!

Nuke the Love Boat! is a graphical adventure for the TRS-80 CoCo.

They are bent on detonating their stolen nuclear device on board but you stumbled upon it first. Captain Stubing was injured fighting the terrorists. You are now acting captain. With the help of Doc, Julie, Gopher, the rest of the crew, and an assortment of guest stars, you must form a commando army to keep the bomb, and the ship, out of terrorist hands. You discovered the terrorists planting the bomb in the communication room.

Surprised, they dropped the suitcase containing the bomb and fled. Gopher grabbed a flaregun and fired it at the fleeing terrorists. The flare exploded in the communications room, destroying it. You are now all but stranded in the middle of the ocean with terrorists aboard. Hopefully, all of the passengers are safe, as they are watching "Sink the Titantic!" in the showroom. Or are they all accounted for?

The terrorists have automatic weapons which could be hazardous to your health. Your only weapons are the ones your ingenuity can create. This strategy simulation is much more than a sitcom. It's a race against time and all the odds. The fate of primetime America rests in your hands. Can you stop Abdul Mullah before he Nukes the Love Boat!'?

Based upon the 1970s sitcom, the player much search the Love Boat in search of items which can be converted to weapons to fight off the terrorist threat. All commands are via menu structures, and navigation is via a plan of the ship. The player can communicate with and ask the cast members for help with the mission. Once weapons are assembled, the player can send cast members off on missions to try to stop the terrorist threat. There is a save and reload feature. If the player messes up, the show is cancelled by a network executive.
