To serve the player first positions their character, then selects the shot, holds down the key to build up power and then releases the button to fire off the serve

A rally in progress, or rather about to end as the ball hits the floor The ball leaves a comet trail that makes it easier to see

Playing in Exhibition or Rally mode can be a one or a two player experience

Player selection for a match against the computer There's no way to change the computer opponent but the difficulty level can be altered
