Description

Super Game Pod! is a non-screen handheld aimed at younger audience which features six mini-games which require some thinking and pressing the right button to proceed to next question and earn sound of success. Just like a handheld, the device contains left and right button, while in place of the screen there are various buttons for various games. Buttons marked with numbers from 1-10 and shapes are used for memory-related games. On the right side are rock-paper-scissors buttons and at the bottom are six buttons which launch selected mini-game.

Pressing the game buttons without starting a mini-game will just yield in a female voice telling you which buttons you have pressed. Otherwise, that same female voice is used in all the mini-games to tell you what to do and do not.

Six included mini-games are:

Migi, Hidari

The simplest game which tell you to press or not to press left and/or right button. By hearing "press right button" or "do not press left button" the player has to press the corresponding button or remain idle until next request. Only left and right buttons are used for this mini-game.

Kazu no Yaritori

The voice lists several different objects (i.e. tomatoes and apples) and the player must answer the total sum of them. Buttons labeled from 1-10 are used for this mini-game.

Ichi no Kioku

This is a memory card game. On the buttons from 1 to 10 are five pairs randomly assigned. Pressing button will tell you what is placed there. For example, pressing number 5 may tell you there's a apple there, and pressing 8 may hold an orange. Connecting all the pairs results in a success.

Suuji no Kioku

This game requires you to remember the right sequence of numbers. At first you have to press 3 numbers you hear in the right order, then 4, and so on. Missing to press the right number in the sequence will repeat the same sequence until you get it right.

Katachi no Hayaoshi

This mini-game uses same ten button which have number and various shapes on them. It requires the player to quickly press all the shapes that match the given condition. For example, if the voice says "press all the shapes that are not round", then pressing stars, rectangles and triangles would be satisfactory.

Otodashi Janken

A slightly irregular game of rock-paper-scissors where the goal isn't always to beat the given selection. Based on the request, the player will have to select rock, paper or scissors to either win or loose if that is required.
