A catchy little time killer...

The Good
Ants, much like Minesweeper, Solitaire, and small pinball games, is just a good way to whittle away a few spare minutes here and there. It doesn't contain hours of gameplay, a gripping storyline, or hardcore action - it's just a few minutes of fun! The kind of game you'd play while waiting for a phone call, or your pizza to arrive. =)

The Bad
The games can sometimes be a little one-sided - sometimes it feels like one player keeps drawing all the most powerful cards while the other player just draws dead wood. And be careful with the game option that allows you to remove the 100 castle height victory condition and keep playing until one castle is razed - it's a good way to accidentally spend two hours playing a game which isn't really worth more than 15 minutes of gameplay at a time at best.

The Bottom Line
It's freeware, and you get what you pay for. If you're bored, and have a spare one megabyte on your hard drive, download it and play it once or twice. Heck, it beats another game of Solitaire!
