Description

inMomentum is a futuristic platform racing game through a 3D environment. The game consists of twelve levels with floating platforms, different heights and slopes. The levels need to be completed by collecting all blue spheres or by reaching the finish line in a fast time. The focus is entirely on racing. The game supports movement that is accelerated by linking together jumps in bunnyhop style. There is also air control during jumps and multiple wall jumps can be performed, launching the character vertically into the air. An additional button is used to slow down time to enable more precise movement.

Most of the levels consists of floating platforms with large gaps. Some sections are locked off by walls that are disabled by shooting a button. Red gates acts as checkpoints when respawning. It is also possible to return to an earlier checkpoint and re-activate it. The game supports online multiplayer. There additional power-ups are introduced each with a different duration and spawn chance. They are Speed (improved speed), Accelerate (fast launch), Megajump, Blink, World Slow, Freezer (freeze every other player), Poison (reduce the acceleration of opponents) and Speed sap (reduces speed of opponents).
