Time to get out and explore the village.

When our eyes met it was as if time had stopped.

Without knowledge of the Japanese language all I can do is guess what this NPC is telling me.

First steps in a small underground path whose entrance was hidden under a bush that can be cleared with your weapon. It leads right back to the surface a few tiles over dropping you off...

...Right next to a chest full of 50 ユール, either read as Yule or Euru like a fantasy Euro. Might be a pun as ゆる makes the same sound and means Loose, as if it's all loose coins, as its sprite suggests.

Clearing away bushes to progress, revealing yuru yuuru, some loose Euru. Or some Yule. It's money.

You can only get to this area behind your tipi once you get the Tomahawk, which is good because...

...This is the entrance to the first dungeon.
