Description

When Tork's father is abducted while defending his village, Tork embarks on a journey through time to find his father and restore balance in the universe. You are Tork, a prehistoric caveboy. Throughout your adventures you must travel though 13 levels in 3 different time periods, including prehistoric times, the Middle Ages and modern era, each with new powers to attain. Your weapons and the enemies vary accordingly.

Beat up enough enemies to fill your rage bar and transform into one of three special animal forms, which will help you out of tough situations and even get you into special areas. Standard moves include a melee attack, a range attack and a double jump to reach difficult areas. The action is shown from the third-person perspective with a fixed camera angle.

Trivia

Originally the game was going to be published by Microsoft Game Studios, but was abandoned in April, 2003 when Microsoft claimed that they had a full portfolio and wanted to focus their attention on other products. Microsoft said they would help find Tiwak another publisher for the game. Ubisoft later picked up the project when it acquired Tiwak in January 2004
