Aegis Wing
Description official description
Aegis Wing is a side-scrolling shooter originally created by three Microsoft interns. The player controls a small ship in epic battles against countless alien foes. All fights occur on non-interactive 3D scrolling backgrounds, but sometimes the player must avoid stationary mines and obstacles positioned at certain points. At the end of some stages there are bosses which will require numerous shots to defeat.
The game also features four players cooperative mode, where at some point players can "attach" their ships to the leading one, and become independent, 360-degrees gun turrets on it. There are also four super weapons the player can pick up after defeating enemies: Arcus Missile, Hades Beam, Gorgon Burst and Lambda Shield.
