Mike Kasprzak serves as the Co-founder, Caretaker, and Lead Developer of Ludum Dare, the largest online game jam event in the world. Founded in April 2002, Ludum Dare challenges developers to create a game from scratch in a weekend and has grown into a highly respected event attracting thousands of participants. Kasprzak's responsibilities include scheduling, running the event, managing servers, custom software development, and promotion of the event and its social media accounts. His achievements include the development of a custom multi-user social network entirely from scratch and the creation of a new event website capable of scaling to support thousands of concurrent users.

In addition to his work with Ludum Dare, Kasprzak is the Owner of Interactive Snacks Limited, a software development company focused on events, entertainment, and education products. Through this venture, he supports the Ludum Dare event and continues to explore new opportunities in software development.

Kasprzak's professional journey also includes roles at various companies such as Tiny Titan Studios (April 2018 - December 2019), where he worked as a Programmer, and Sykhronics Entertainment (since December 2005), his own independent game studio. At Sykhronics Entertainment, Kasprzak focuses on creating original games for a variety of platforms and also provides contract work for other companies. Additionally, he has experience working as an Independent Contractor at Shaw Communications, contributing author for the "iPhone Games Projects" book, and writer for Game Tunnel.
