In 2003, Rick Stults is the President / General Manager of Skylab Entertainment.
In 2001, Rick Stults co-founded SubstanceTV, a DVD videomagazine dedicated to exploring contemporary culture. As COO and VP of Finance, Rick oversaw all aspects of the company’s finances and Human Resources and coordinated the licensing of SubstanceTV content. Prior to SubstanceTV, Rick’s experience and reputation as an exceptional financial officer in both the private and corporate sectors made him a natural choice to be co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of Gathering of Developers. During his tenure as CFO, Rick oversaw all aspects Human Resources and managed internal financial operations, including cash flow, capital investments and the acquisition of the company by Take Two Interactive. He also oversaw the financial details of licensing and developer relations.
After Gathering of Developers became a subsidiary of Take Two Interactive, Rick was named Vice President of Operations, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Gathering’s Austin offices and managing the projects of a design studio that included Web and multimedia teams.
Rick earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Anderson School of Management, University of New Mexico, before entering the world of corporate finance as a financial auditor. He excelled in this complex and structured environment and was quickly promoted into management.
