Centroid Animation GmbH was an animation facility founded in 2004 and located in Berlin, Germany. An additional motion capture studio was established in January 2006. The Berlin location was lead by Studio Manager Sven Bergmann. This facility created high definition motion capture footage for the Playstation 2, Xbox and Xbox 360 consoles.

Its parent company is Centroid Motion Capture (now named Centroid 3D Group), headquartered in the United Kingdom.

This location shut down all studio operations in 2007. However, the name of this facility is still in existence since Centroid hopes to open another German studio in the future.
