Playground Games is a game development studio based in the UK. It was established in 2009 by Gavin Raeburn and Ralph Fulton after they left Codemasters.

The studio's first work was contributing to the development of DJ Hero 2 (2010) by FreeStyleGames. On 5 March 2012, the studio announced its first own project, Forza Horizon, a new entry in the Forza Motorsport racing series. It was released in October 2012.

On 10 June 2018, they were acquired by Microsoft Corporation to be part of the Microsoft Studios (today Xbox Game Studios) label.
