Overview edit · view history

Yumekobo (夢工房, lit: Dream Workshop) was a development studio established in August, 1996 by a joint investment from SNK and TAKARA, with the development staff formed by the consolidation of Aicom, Santos, and part of Eleca. The company's first president was Nobuyuki Okude, who came over from TAKARA.

The studio was established to bolster SNK's first-party offerings for the Neo Geo, as well as to produce conversions of SNK titles to the PlayStation and Sega Saturn, and in later years they also produced a large amount of software for SNK's Neo Geo Pocket handheld. The studio was closed in 2001 following SNK's bankruptcy.
