August 2, 2011: Glu Mobile acquired Griptonite Games.
July 29, 2009: Foundation 9 Entertainment announces to have recently merged Amaze Entertainment and Griptonite Games into a single studio, using the name of the latter.
July 2008: The division returns to its original Griptonite Games name and branding.
November 14, 2006: Amaze Entertainment, along with Griptonite Games, is acquired by Foundation 9 Entertainment and becomes a subsidiary of the umbrella group.
2005: Griptonite as a brand is retired and all operations are done under Amaze Entertainment's name.
1999: The studio is acquired by Amaze Entertainment and re-branded Griptonite Games.
April 1994: The division is established.
