Blade is a developer of innovative, state-of-the-art, interactive computer games designed with you in mind. The driving force, creativity and experience, coupled with a desire to continually push back the boundaries of technology, provide the building blocks for excellence.

Our focus is the creation of original products. At Blade we are constantly striving for perfection, to provide that edge that makes the difference between a good game and one that is truly outstanding.

Our teams comprise of some of the most talented individuals in the industry. Many have more than 15 years experience, with skill sets that span the entire spectrum of computer and console formats, and in-depth hands-on knowledge of multiple game genres, from racing, platform and role-playing through to sports simulations.

History

Blade was founded in 1998 by a group of industry veterans with a goal of creating some of the most technically advanced computer games for the next generation hardware and to establish new, high-quality, high-visibility brands, games that you can't put down.

With that philosophy and a strong physics bias to the company and the desire to create our own little FIFA we developed the very successful Snooker simulations, World Championship Snooker (published by Codemasters). Building on the success of both the PS and PS2 versions, we are now creating further versions, which will simply blow you away!
