Tonkinhouse was a publishing label created by Tokyo Shoseki in 1989 for their entertainment software releases. In 1997, the subsidiary Tokyo Shoseki Media Factory was established to take over all of Tokyo Shoseki's games-related operations, including the Tonkinhouse brand.
