Overview edit · view history

Paon Corporation, Ltd., founded on 20th January 1999 in Japan, was a Japanese video game developer. Aside from working on a number of titles, they also bought the rights of some of Data East Corporation's games when the company went bankrupt, and gradually released them through the Wii's virtual console service.

In March 2015 the company was merged into DP Inc. which was then renamed Paon DP Inc.

A large amount of developers who were previously with Paon ended up at Picola Inc., which was formed at the same time (February 2015) as the Paon merger.
