Founded in 1995 as a joint venture between CSK International Headquarters, Inc. and SEGA of America, SegaSoft developed and published interactive software and content for the Sega Saturn, PC and the Internet. In 1997, it also launched the HEAT.NET multiplayer service.
The company laid off its staff in late September 2000, after which it became inactive.
