Softmax is a Korean game developer and publisher. The main business field of the company can be divided into three areas: package games (console and PC games), online games and mobile games. Their package game business began with the War of Genesis series, followed by titles like Lychnis, Sky & Rica, Aimpoint, Panthalassa, Magna Carta. Magna Carta: Crimson Stigmata, in cooperation with Banpresto in Japan is the first PS2 RPG title in Korea.

Online game business began with online game community service 4LEAF (www.4leaf.com) which was founded in 1999. In the following years Softmax released the story-driven action RPG Tales Weaver, Dream Chaser and Jellybbi Wars. They also laid the foundation of wire and wireless unification by the link with mobile service m4leaf (www.m4leaf.net). Tales Weaver, in particular, was exported to Taiwan, Japan and China and has won steady popularity in the world of online game fans.

Mobile games by Softmax include War of Genesis: Crow, Tomb of Hero and Magna Carta M, which are based on the RPG know-how and network technology of Softmax. Above all, War of Genesis: Crow made an exceptional record with the number of accumulated download exceeding 400,000 by now.
