With a keen interest in both Art and Computers Graphics, upon leaving Geelong High School, Nick began his career at EDAG doing technical illustration for Holden. He enjoyed his year there gaining strong skills in 2D drafting and car modelling. In order to broaden his expertise he decided to complete a TAFE Certificate IV course in Graphic Arts followed by a two year Diploma at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment in Canberra.
After a brief stint as a satire comic artist for the local Geelong newspaper, he accepted a position at Tantalus Media in Melbourne and has worked there as a Lead Artist since March 2005.
Currently employed as a contractor he has started his own site www.kaabaa.org, derived from a translation of his last name into Japanese, the site features artwork and more information about himself.
