Torbjörn lives in Stockholm Sweden with his spouse Sara and his two kids Viktor and Freja. He currently works for Digital Illusions CE AB (DICE) and has been for almost 8 years now. He currently works for DICE Tools'n Technology team, leading the rendering team, which creates the rendering technology for the Frostbite Engine, used for DICE next generation console and PC titles. As rendering programmer for Battlefield 2 he was mainly involved in creation of the core BF2 rendering technology and the rendering tool pipeline. He had similar responsibilities as a rendering programmer for Battlefield 1942, which actually was the first rendering engine he wrote.
Torbjörn also spent one year together with his family living in London, Ontario, working for DICE Canada (march 2002-march 2003). At DICE Canada he assumed a lead programmer position of 2 projects: Land Before Time (Big Water Adventure) and Battlefield 1942 X-pack 2 (Secret Weapons of WW2).
Before joining DICE in 1999 he was working for Ericsson Saab Avionics creating a military flight simulator T3SIM. He also worked as application programmer for a HMD (Addvisor) that was developed by Ericsson Saab Avionics. He graduated in 1998 as a MSc in Computing Science at the University of Umeå, majoring in Computer Science and Parallel Computing.
