Did anyone remember having fuzzy fonts in the menus of this game? My menus for eg. aircraft selection have a pinkish tint to the text, as if the text was displayed on an old composite tv screen. Everything else looks very crisp, and this is the only time I've seen this effect in a game.

Problem solved, or at least identified. (It also appeared in CFS2, in the same manner.)
If I turn off the desktop setting for 'smooth edges of screen fonts', the fuzz goes away. I can also change it from cleartype to standard, and keep the font smoothing on.
(I'm running XP64)
