At the end of the first game, Atrus, the central character, asked for help to track down his wife, Catherine, who was trapped on another world. As Riven begins, you're transported to that world, a string of five islands called Riven. Atrus warns you that a higher power is involved in Catherine's disappearance before leaving you to explore your surroundings and unravel the many mysteries.

Comienzas donde terminaba Myst. Atrus, el padre de los dos hijos de Myst, tiene otra misión para ti: rescatar a su esposa de las garras de su padre Gehn. y encerrarlo para siempre en uno de esos libros trampa de Myst.

Tu búsqueda tiene lugar en Riven. un hermoso mundo creado por Gehn siguiendo la tradición de sus ancestros.

Riven es una colección de pequeñas islas unidas por pasarelas, tranvías aéreos y mini submarinos pero al contrario de Myst, estas islas tienen habitantes humanos.

Los dos puzzles principales del juego requieren la resolución previa de muchos mini problemas que a su vez pasan por la observación detenida de los habitantes de Riven. los colores y su único sistema de numeración.

Riven es un juego de ritmo pausado que constituye un reto para tu mente !
