The Good
The Music on the title screen is superb and shows off the AY chip well. The Graphics are equally good showing off the 16 colour mode of the Amstrad nicely. The gameplay is enjoyable with the bikes handling well, not fiddly which is the case with some of these top-down racing games.
The Bad
The sound effects are a little weak in the game itself and there could be a little more too the game.
The Bottom Line
If you wanted to see how Micro Machines (the game) got started BMX Simulator is the best place to start this is a good port of the C64 original.
