Decimal Concepts

Decimal Concepts is an educational math game for the Apple II.

Contains 3 games devoted to decimals:* Maze Runner - Played in 5 rounds, the player has 60 seconds to navigate a smiley face through a small invisible maze. As the player bumps into walls, the walls appear. After completing the maze, the player receives a time score, and must correctly answer decimal questions about the time.

• Decimal Duel - A 2 player gamed played in 5 rounds, and allows for a computer opponent. Players are given a number from 0 to 1 using hundredths. The players' goal is to get as close to a specific number without going over, and the player who is the closest wins. Each round the player receives 3 random decimals. They have a choice of receiving 3 more decimals, or completing their number. If the player chooses 3 more decimals, they must choose a number, and can not finish that round, putting them at risk of going over.
• Decimal Bounce - An arcade fraction game. A number line with decimals is on the top of the screen and fractions on the bottom. A ball showing a decimal bounces between the two, and the player must correctly move the ball horizontally to align it with the appropriate number. Each bounce, the decimal within the ball changes. There are 5 levels of difficulty based upon ball speed.
