Like most Maxis games, includes references to llamas. In this case, you can purchase a miniature llama as a pet in the carnival.

References

This game (and also the other Sim Game Boy Advance games) includes many references to the TV show Smallville. For instance, The sim called Daddy Bigbucks is an evil rich business tycoon. In Smallville, Lionel Luthor is also an evil rich business tycoon, The sim Luthor Bigbucks looks a lot like Lex Luthor, The fact that your sim is an alien is similar to Superman's backstory, The city being named Miniopolis is also like Smallville's Metropolis. You can even purchase a Green Meteorite (similar to Kryptonite), which it even says in the games description of the item is that it renders some superheroes powerless (another reference to Superman). Also, the game is developed by Griptonite games, another reference to Kryptonite. There are even more references to Smallville to be found in the game that are not mentioned here.
